Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the most common questions about Daily Flow. If you don't find your answer, just write to us.

What is Daily Flow?

It is a personal finance organization app. You log income and expenses in seconds, track recurring bills, set savings goals and investments, and see a summary of your financial health.

Do I need to connect my bank account?

No. Daily Flow works through manual entry (typed or by voice), with no bank connection required.

How do I make a quick entry?

Type something like "groceries 50" or "uber 18.50" in the field on the home screen and send it. The app figures out the amount, category, and whether it is an expense or income on its own. You can also tap a category button to open a quick number pad.

Can I log entries by voice?

Yes. Tap the microphone icon next to the text field and speak your entry the same way you would type it. On iPhone and Android, the entry is submitted automatically once you stop speaking, but you can undo it right after by tapping "Undo".

How does logging savings work?

When logging an expense, choose the "Savings" category. Unlike a regular expense, this amount does not count toward the month's financial health calculation, since it is money set aside, not spent. You can also link a goal contribution directly to a savings entry in your history.

How do I log a credit card bill?

Type "credit card bill" in the main field. This opens a specific flow to reconcile the total bill amount against the expenses you already logged in that category during the month, so you do not count the same expense twice.

How do I add a recurring bill, like rent or a subscription?

Under Analysis, tap "+ Bill" and enter the name, amount, and due day. You get a heads-up when the bill is about to come due, and you can pause or reactivate a recurring bill anytime.

How do I create a savings goal?

Under Goals, tap "+ Goal" and set a target amount (and, if you want, a target date). The app works out how much to save weekly to get there on time. To log a contribution, open the goal and tap "+ Log savings".

What is the difference between goals and investments?

Goals are for setting money aside for a specific purpose, like a trip or an emergency fund. Investments track real financial holdings, like stocks or funds, with contributions, dividends, withdrawals, and a maturity date.

What does the financial health card mean?

It compares this month's spending pace with your average from previous months (or with your reported income, if there is not enough history yet) and shows whether you are on a healthy pace, need attention, or are above what is expected.

How do I reorder or customize my categories?

Under Settings > Categories, drag to reorder or use the arrows, tap a category to edit its name, icon, and color, or create a new one anytime.

How do I set up my income and payday?

Under Settings > Income, choose your frequency (daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly), the payday, and the amount. This also defines the period shown in History.

Can I turn on notifications?

Yes. Under Settings > Notifications, choose to get alerts for bills due, payday, a weekly financial health summary, goals behind pace, and investment maturity.

How much does it cost?

Every new account gets 30 days free with full access. After that, the subscription costs R$ 9.90 a month in Brazil, or €4.99 a month outside Brazil.

If you see the price in a different currency than your region, that amount was converted automatically by Stripe, our payment processor, and may vary slightly with each charge based on the exchange rate.

How does the 30-day free trial work?

Every new account starts with 30 days of full access, no charge and no card required. The subscribe button stays visible throughout the trial, in case you want to subscribe before it ends.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. If you subscribed on the web, cancel under Settings > Subscription, right in the app. If you subscribed through the mobile app, cancellation is handled by the App Store or Play Store. Either way, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

I subscribed through the mobile app, how do I cancel?

Under Settings > Subscription, tap "Manage subscription in the store". This opens the subscriptions screen in the App Store (iPhone) or Play Store (Android), where you can cancel directly.

I got a new device, do I need to pay again?

No. If you subscribed through the App Store or Play Store, sign in with the same Apple or Google account on the new device and tap "Restore purchases" under Settings > Subscription.

What happens if a payment fails?

You get a notice inside the app and can update your payment method anytime under Settings. Access is only blocked after every retry attempt has failed.

Is my financial data safe?

Yes. Each user can only access their own data, and passwords are never stored in plain text. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Does the app work on iPhone and Android? Do I need to download it from a store?

It works on both, right from the browser, as an installable app (PWA), with no app store required. A native version for iPhone and Android also exists and is rolling out to the stores gradually.

How do I delete my account and my data?

Under Settings > Delete account, right inside the app. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
